This piece is inspired by Galatians 4:4 where Paul affirms that Jesus came to the earth at just the right time in the divine scheme of things: “But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son…..” For centuries God had orchestrated societal elements in preparation for the perfect time for the arrival of His Son.

  1. The Jews, with scores of prophecies regarding the Messiah had prepared the way for the receptivity of Jesus as the Messiah.
  2. The Greeks had provided a language that was the most precise instrument for the conveyance of Jesus’ message.
  3. The Romans had given the world a time of peace and never before developed transportation and communication systems.

This verse and the confluence of events that it references is a reminder that God’s timing is perfect.
