Valentin Gomez and Mary Jane Miller offer a collection of thirty beautifully executed contemporary icons. They are masterfully done in two ancient techniques.

Mary Jane Miller has created a collection of icons unique to this day and age. Honoring the style of classic Byzantine iconography, the collection includes contemporary images of Christ the Teacher, Mary the Mother of Jesus, a selection of Saints, and a few angels.

The work is powerful, offering face-to-face contact with ancient image and archetyple concepts. Contemporary sacred art is not just for church but all of humanity. Icons inspire messages from mystics illustrated through parable. They defy logic, distort time and space, and invite the viewer to pause and reflect.
